How fast does NilePhase Energy respond to enquiries?

Accepted Answer

NilePhase Energy replies to WhatsApp messages within a few hours during business days (Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00, Saturday 09:00–14:00 East Africa Time) and to email enquiries within 24 hours. For urgent repair situations — for example a clinic cold-chain system down or a commercial site running on generator only — send a WhatsApp message tagged 'URGENT' and we prioritise the callback.

Does NilePhase Energy serve locations outside Kampala?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We are headquartered in Kampala but regularly install and service systems in Jinja, Mukono, Entebbe, Wakiso, Mbarara, Gulu, Mbale, Masaka and Fort Portal, with experience on remote sites across Northern and Western Uganda. For jobs outside Greater Kampala we include travel and accommodation in the itemised quote and commission the system on site before leaving.

Is there a cost to request a quote?

An initial site assessment and itemised quote is free for projects within Greater Kampala. For remote sites we typically charge a site-visit fee that is fully credited back against the project if you proceed with installation. The quote itself is always itemised — every panel, battery, inverter, cable run and labour line shown with brand names and model numbers, so you can compare like for like.

Can I visit the NilePhase Energy office?

Yes, by appointment. Most of our engineering team is on site during business hours, so we ask that you WhatsApp or call to confirm a time before visiting. We can walk you through a sample handover pack, commissioning report and settings sheet at the office so you can see exactly what you will receive with your own installation.

Do you offer emergency or after-hours repair?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For clients on a NilePhase maintenance contract, after-hours critical-failure response is included in the SLA. For non-contract clients with an urgent failure — typically clinic cold-chain, commercial downtime or a total inverter failure — we monitor the WhatsApp line outside business hours and can usually dispatch an engineer within the Central Region on the same or next day.
